Galphabetics

Back in October, alongside filling the UK with handpainted signs, the gal members of Alphabetics Anonymous, Hana Sunny Whaler and Mia Warner, found time to host an all-women sign painting event at Blue Shop cottage. I (Rachel from Handover HQ) was lucky enough to go hang out and get a brush wet!

The two-day event began with a women's paint jam on Saturday where brilliant ladies of lettering of all skill levels could get together and learn from each other.

Sunday was a sold-out beginner workshop, run by Brush & Pen Studio focusing on the art of decorative letters.

Events like this are a great way to share knowledge and keep the craft alive, as well as motivating and inspiring each other!
