The material is semi-transparent, allowing for precise alignment and tracing during the design and cutting phases. This makes it especially valuable in applications involving curved or irregular surfaces, such as vehicle bodies, helmets, or architectural features.

We recommend using a Hot Pen to cut out your required patterns – alternatively, you can use a craft knife or scalpel. Mylar is flexible like a thick piece of paper, washable, reusable, semi-transparent and suitable for use with all types of paint, including spray paint, solvent- and water-based paints, inks and airbrush mediums. Post-application, the sheets can be washed and reused multiple times without degradation, thanks to their resistance to moisture, chemicals, and mechanical stress.
