The Mack : Hanson/Mack – Alien DeathHawk Pinstriping Brush is a premium collaboration between Andrew Mack & Son Brush Company and renowned sign artist Todd Hanson, engineered for stripers who demand precision, control and superior paint flow.

Built to the same specifications as the King 13, the Alien DeathHawk features European dressed blue squirrel hair rather than Chinese blue squirrel hair. This European hair is noticeably stiffer, giving the brush more body and significantly less droop when fully loaded — ideal for long, controlled pulls and consistent line work.

The 5/0 and 3/0 sizes are crafted with 60mm European dressed blue squirrel hair, producing a total hair length of 1 3/4″. The 2/0 size uses a 65mm hair length, resulting in a total hair length of 2″. During production, the brush is given additional pull in the making process, creating slightly more taper than a traditional striper for enhanced line control.

Hair distribution is also uniquely configured. The 5/0 and 3/0 are set on a 2/0 handle, while the 2/0 is set on a 0 handle. This means the same volume of hair used in smaller sizes is applied to a handle with a larger surface area, providing improved balance, stability and paint capacity.
