Handover : Soft Hair French Polishing and Gilding Mop : In Ferrule

This domed soft hair mop brush is made from extremely soft mixed natural hair. Also called a “French Polishing Mop”.

Traditionally used for applying french polish and by gilders and craftsmen for gilding and various applications. Ideal as a gilding mop, for French polish or for wherever else a large mop is required. Like the series 705Q these brushes are made with Handover’s unique soft hair mixture but are bound in a metal ferrule rather than in a quill.

A versatile brush which is also ideal for watercolour washes. A great alternative to squirrel.

Available in a metal ferrule or in a quill this series is similar to the 700 and 700F but made in an economical soft hair mixture.

Available in the following sizes:

• Size: 2 = Diameter of ferrule = 6mm.  Hair length = 31mm
• Size: 4 = Diameter of ferrule =  10mm.  Hair length = 34mm
• Size: 6 = Diameter of ferrule = 13mm.  Hair length = 37mm
• Size: 8 = Diameter of ferrule = 16mm. Hair length = 43mm
• Size: 10 =Diameter of ferrule = 19mm.  Hair length = 50mm
• Size: 12 = Diameter of ferrule = 22mm.  Hair length = 56mm
