Available in 1″ wide flat only, this synthetic sky stippler has densely packed hairs that carry a large amount of liquid, suited to broad, heavily loaded washes. The hair gives a slightly streaky quality to the brushmarks. Used with dry paint, it can create a powdery effect in skies, and dry brush techniques can also be layered over washes.
