The bright is a short-haired flat brush – flatter and more square-ended than a standard flat – which gives it a firm, direct feel under the brush. It’s particularly useful for working with thicker paint, short controlled strokes, and blending colour on the canvas without overworking it.

This series is made from pure Kolinsky sable, which brings more spring and sensitivity than you’d get from a hog bristle or synthetic equivalent. That responsiveness makes it a good choice for finer oil painting work where you want to feel what the brush is doing.
