Hancy : Pounce Pad

The Hancy Pounce Pad is a classic tool of the signwriter’s trade – a box-shaped applicator with a built-in powder reservoir and soft application pad, designed for transferring patterns accurately onto any surface.

To use, first perforate the lines of your design using a pounce wheel, then place the pattern against the surface you want to paint. Fill the pad with pounce powder – specially formulated not to clog – and wipe it firmly over the back of the paper. The powder seeps through the perforations, leaving a clean dotted outline of your design ready to paint from. The same pattern can be used again and again, making it ideal whenever you need to repeat the same design across multiple surfaces.

Available in three colours – black, white, and blue – our pounce powders are formulated to give good contrast on any background. Replacement pads are also available when yours needs refreshing.
