Chisel Writer Sample Set

The chisel sample set is designed for those who are keen to learn about the difference in spring between sable, sable/ox mix, toray synthetic, and series K synthetic. All made to the same specifications, the 2112, 2112A, 333, and series K brush series differ only in the hair/fibre they use.

This is a great set for beginning signwriters who are unsure of what will work best for them, or for those who have always bought the same type brush and would like to see what else is available.

Set contains a 2112A/003, 333/004, 2112/005 and B404C/006.

Sable Chisel Writer Set

The ever popular 2112 is now available in a set making it a ideal starting place for those looking to build up their signwriting brush selection!

Made from the finest 100% pure Kolinsky sable, the 2112 is a first-class chisel-edged brush with medium-length hair offering high level of response and control.

The set contains a 2112/001, 2112/003 and a 2112/005.

Series K Synthetic Brush Set

Handover Series K Synthetic Brushes are made with specially developed synthetic sable, the unique fibre has the spring and snap of real sable, with the durability of a synthetic.

This set includes:

• 1 x size 8 bright (B104B/008) – This brush is ideal for thick brushwork, with its short, evenly shaped hairs allowing precise control over heavy applications. Perfect for bold strokes and strong stroke definition.
• 1 x size 4 filbert (B104FB/004) – Filbert brushes blend round and flat tip traits, with firm, durable hair suited for most paints. Ideal for blending slow-drying paint and softening edges, their flat oval shape enables smooth transitions between colours.
• 1 x size 17 flat/one stroke (B104F/017) – With a flat tip and ferrule, these versatile brushes offer reliable control and movement, perfect for lettering, borders, and one-stroke work.
• 1 x size 5 round (B104R/005) – With a pointed round tip, these brushes are perfect for washes, filling, and creating fine lines or broad strokes, depending on pressure. This particular series is also available with a long handle for oil painting (Long handled Series K).

Series K is a versatile material making it suitable for a wide range of media including enamels, acrylics, and oils.
