INFORMATION
This badger hair softener is used for blending and softening paint effects. Available in 2″, 3″ and 4″ widths.
It’s used in faux and decorative finishing to soften the edges between colours and remove harsh lines from brushwork.
To use, work from the elbow rather than the wrist, which tends to give a more even stroke – brushing from the wrist alone is harder to control. The stroke should be light, using the tips of the hair only.
Used wet, it can soften and blend finishes such as scumbling and glazing.
